a cozy retreat with surprises
We felt at home from the first moment, greeted warmly by staff and treated to delightful afternoon treats. The charming decor and cozy ambiance added to the experience, especially during the snowstorm outside.
However, we were a bit disappointed with the hot temperature in our room at night, as the AC remote wasn't available, making sleep difficult until we sorted it out.

We had a wonderful two-night stay in the Tanglewood Suite, which was super clean and nicely decorated. The huge bathroom was a hit, especially the jacuzzi tub. I loved enjoying breakfast outside while taking in the fresh air and beautiful grounds with the kids.
My wife says that having more storage for luggage would be a plus.

Staying at Brook Farm Inn felt quite special. The charming New England decor gave the place a cozy vibe. Breakfast each morning featured fresh, homemade options like quiche and fluffy pastries that really started the day right. Maureen and Joe went out of their way to accommodate us, even bringing desserts to our room. I loved the peaceful setting surrounded by beautiful flowers and quiet woods. However, the steep stairs to our room were a challenge, especially after a long day out. The attic room had a snug charm but was quite hot at night without adequate cooling, making sleep difficult. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience was filled with warmth and delightful moments.

Breakfast outdoors on the deck showcases a forest-like setting that enhances the experience, with fresh and expertly prepared options like velvety scrambled eggs, quiche, and savory sausages. The guest pantry supplies convenient snacks and drinks, perfect for a mid-day pick-me-up.
Stairs leading to rooms are quite steep, making the journey back a workout, especially after a busy day. The queen room felt tight, causing taller guests to bump their heads on low eaves, which might catch you off guard if you expect roomier accommodations. Some breakfast offerings lack variety, with several dishes showing up overcooked, leaving less room for culinary excitement. Notably, the $400 price tag might lead you to expect more unique charm and amenities than what’s provided. the overall feel is somewhat generic without particular touches that typically elevate an inn stay.

We had a delightful stay, enjoying the cozy ambiance. The generous breakfast featured a homemade gluten-free egg dish, delighting my taste buds. A special mention to the kind staff for their hospitality. I recommend requesting a room with good air circulation for a more comfortable night's sleep!
